Chamber music echoes around the venue--a grand ballroom, with candles and floating, glowing orbs glittering about to give the scene a golden glow. There's a woman nearby dressed like so who is giving you a friendly smile, especially if you look like a fish out of water. Perhaps you can talk to her to gain some footing? [leaning up against a wall out of the way, creating his own flowers out of light and letting them drift back and forth between his hands. his outfit is about the same gaudy sort of green, though, you know, he makes it work]

[he seems a bit distracted, absent-minded, like he's letting the party flow around him without really engaging with it. sometimes it doesn't seem like anybody notices he's there]
